The story line in the PS2 version of Godzilla: Unleashed allows the player to select from a variety of potential ways to save the earth. Things do not go so well for our home planet of Earth, however, as Godzilla and his monster friends wreak havoc at every turn. Interestingly enough, some of the monsters in the PlayStation version of the Godzilla: Unleashed game are defenders of the earth and are actually trying to save it. Monsters use these combat routines as their weapon of choice during the game. Characters can perform breath attacks, tail whips, somersaults, bicycle kicks, and many more combat moves. Monsters in the Playstation version of the Godzilla: Unleashed game have a variety of impressive combat routines in their arsenals. Throughout the game play, players can discover various cheats and use helpful codes to unlock both special characters or monsters. The PlayStation 2 (PS2) version of the game allows the player to take part in reinvented fighting techniques, and the player also has the choice of playing as Battra, MechaGodzilla, King Ghidora, or one of the other tail-swinging, foot-stomping monsters. Godzilla: Unleashed features realistic urban backdrops and cinematic action, and it may also allow a cheat to unlock a monster or a special situation. Monsters are free to destroy the earth and such iconic cities as San Fransisco, Sydney, Osaka, and New York, among others. ![]() The Godzilla Unleashed video game version for PS2, which was developed by Pipewords Software and published by Ataria, allows from one to four players in a three-dimensional (3D) mode. In Godzilla: Unleashed for PS2 (Sony PlayStation 2, 2007) the player can rampage across the earth as one of multiple infamous unleashed monsters, including King Ghidora, Mothra, Fire Rodan, Megalon, Obsidius, Jet Jaguar, Baragon, Mechagodzilla, Battra, and, of course, Godzilla 2000. ![]()
